DEFINITION OF TERMS USED IN THE RULES OF THE ROAD

"Vessel" - any watercraft capable of being used as a means of transportation on water and the length of which is at least 20 m.

"Power-driven vessel" - any watercraft propelled by her own machinery.

"Sailing vessel" - any watercraft under sail provided that propelling machinery, if fitted, is not being used.

"Small vessel" - any watercraft the length of which is less than 20 m, measuered on the hull.

"Sport craft" - any watercraft, which is not qualified as a pleasure craft, a ferry or a boat, and suitable for transportation on water, buoyant and steerable when properly used.

"Pleasure craft" - any watercraft, which is used for non-commercial purposes, but for tourism and/or sport.

"All-round light" - a light showing an unbroken light over an arc of the horizon of 360 degrees.
